The first time I walked into Sister Rosie’s classroom, I saw a kid with a red ball of yarn and a kid with a blue ball of yarn and they’re running around the room crisscrossing. That’s how she taught the circulatory system to her fifth-grade science students and St. Margaret Mary School. Rosie was a teacher, a youth minister, a pastoral associate, a massage therapist and a holistic therapist and all of the time an artist and musician. ~ Nan
